Tectona Grandis Leaves: Determination of Total Flavonoid Content, Phenolic Content, Characterization of the Leaves, and Compound Identification in GC-MS

Nowadays, traditional plant study has grown in importance as their use been increased. Tectona grandis (teak) is one of several plants that have studied for its phytochemical and pharmacological properties. This includes a number secondary metabolites, which may explain diverse Although teak leaf compounds examined the past, there still little information on diversity compounds. As result, we are employing methodologies to determine total flavonoids content, phenolic water extractable matter, ethanol ash other component analysis leaves. We found average flavonoid content leaves about 3.93 ± 0.008%w/w, while concentration 4.3±0.15%w/w.
